Third Quarter Comparison 2007/2008 Sales Report

 


Current Market View

Sale prices of single family homes in Cranberry Country are still falling in the 3rd Quarter 2008, but not as steep when compared between 2nd quarter 2007/2008 & 3rd Quarter 2007/2008 Data:

  • -17.37% Average Sale Price
  • -17.01% Media Sale Price

3rd Quarter 2008 2007/2008 Comparison Difference

  • -7.65% Average Sale Price
  • -11.61% Media Sales Price


Eight of the nine Cranberry County towns saw an Average Sale Price decline from a low of (-1.75%) Bridgewater, to a high of (-18.47%) Plympton.

Only one town had an positive number in Average Sales Price: Rochester (20%). However, Rochester saw a decline of (-12.35%) in the Median Sales Price. Lakeville was the only town to have an positive number in the Median Sales Price (2.73%)

Number of home sales declined compared to 3rd quarter last year:

  • 2008 3rd Quarter Home Sales - 215

Days On Market

Average days on market decreased:

  • 2007 3rd Quarter - 153 Days On Market
  • 2008 3rd Quarter - 140 Days On Market
